Vision for the Future

My vision for the future of the Sawyer County Sheriff’s Department is built on strong partnerships, proactive policing, and a commitment to serving our communities with integrity and transparency.

I will prioritize efforts to reduce drug addiction through a balanced approach—combining assertive, coordinated law enforcement with meaningful prevention and education programs that address the root causes of substance abuse.

I am committed to working closely with the county administrator and county board to ensure open communication, responsible transparency, and the resources needed to strengthen our department, including additional staffing in the jail and detective divisions.

Collaboration will remain a cornerstone of my leadership. I will continue to expand teamwork among all law enforcement agencies to enhance public safety across Sawyer County.

Finally, I will partner with county administration and department leaders to support one another and deliver the highest level of service to the people we are sworn to protect.
